Grange Medical Centre is committed to ensuring that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided by our practice. We routinely ask for and act on the views of our registered patients. This includes involving our patients in decisions that lead to changes to the services we provide, either directly or in our capacity as gatekeeper to other services.
We engage patients through the use of Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) and seek views from wider groups of practice patients through regular local practice surveys. The outcomes of the engagement and the views of our patients are routinely published on this website.
We organise PPG meetings every 2 to 3 months, and have an active PPG group which runs really well. The chair person for the group is Mrs Rubina Burhan and other community members and patients. If you are interested in becoming a member of our Patient Participation Group, and helping to shape the nature of health services provided in your local community, please get in touch with the PPG Lead Mrs Shamraz Akhtar or the practice Manager Mrs Ravinder Khan on 01274 957908.
We would like to give our patients a chance to give us their opinions on how to improve. The practice PPG Lead is at the Grange Medical centre on Tuesdays between 9am till 3pm. If you would like to discuss or raise any issues on how to improve the service at the practice you are very welcome. You can ring the Grange medical centre or come in to the practice to meet the PPG lead. This is a general discussion session with the PPG lead, please bear in mind it is not a complaints service.
We have also introduced feedback forms at the practices, if you would like to make a suggestion or leave feedback, please fill in the form and we will try improving the service.
